【辨析】
beg 表示请求时，含有恳求或谦恭的意思，常用于客套语中：
I beg him to stay.
我恳请他留下。
request 通常指比较正式地或有礼貌地邀请：
I request you all to be seated.
我请你们大家都坐下。
demand 有命令的意思，是来自权威方面且不打折扣的要求：
I demand to know the truth.
我要知道事实真相。
